And remember, this thread actually exists

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...-sanchez-joyces-next-logical-opponent.687938/

Hipsters suddenly had to sell their Sanchez hype train tickets and take his name out of the equation...

Exactly. Those fights were years ago, when Hammer was actually considered a fringe contender, had ambition, and not an "opponent" willing to get busted up on short notice.

Not in his prime, but he's better than every version of Povetkin we've seen since the Wach fight.

You mean the guy who actually went competitive rounds with elite fighters, and even beat world ranked opponents? Povetkin up until the very end where he got too old mops the floor with Joyce.

Yeah, well those guys are irrational Usyk haters and their opinions are irrelevant. As far as Fury goes, even you'll admit he's vulnerable, Wilder almost had him out of there in 2 of the 3 fights, and Wallin arguably did enough to get a draw. Joyces chin is every bit as durable as Wallin's, and his pressure and volume is superior. If Wallin can get to Fury consistently, so can The Juggernaut.

Those flush right hands Joe ate would've sent Fat Andy to the shadow realm. Arreola's shot ghost dropped him and literally turned his lights out for a split second when he made his knees dip dramatically. Hammer caught Joe flush with everything he had repeatedly but his shots just bounced of that iron British mandible like frozen peas bouncing off the surface of the moon.

These same Jealous of Joe hater's knickers get moist about Cubano school Ortiz and Frank Sanchez and Fragile Frenchman Yoka but none of them came close to stopping Hammer.

Only three men in history in Hammer's last 27 fights have got him out of there and they are all Brit Level Brits and Hammer retired due to an arm injury against Hughie.

Povetkin (not old) would destroy Joyce in every way.

Joyce plays it safe early like he did against Dubois, while applying steady pressure, AJ starts gassing by the 6th, Joyce takes him apart and stops him in 8.

He got old right around when he fought Wach. That's my point. But even a shell of Sasha was enough to beat a shithouses like Hughie Fury and Dillian Whyte.

Wallin is a southpaw, and he was aided by the bad cut that Fury had to fight through, and no the fight was competitive, but not that close. Wilder has power that Joyce obviously doesn't have, Fury beats him any way he wants - walking him down, or boxing. There's level to boxing. it's silly to think that Fury has problems with someone as slow and predictable as Joyce, this would be Whyte fight all over again(who you also tipped to beat Fury might I add)
