    Because the people "ducking him" have better options to pursue. If the best Frank Warren can offer is Christian Hammer that's on him.

    I have said it before and I will say it again Joe Joyce is going to be very difficult and awkward to beat. Can he beat the top guys like AJ, Fury and Usyk. The answer is possibly yes as they could beat him as well. Beating Joyce will take careful strategy and implementation and is not going to be easy. Putting Dubois in with him was a stupid mistake as it was only going to end one way.

    The point here is the same here albeit you're on opposite sides of the coin.


    The simple fact is Joyce is simply to high a risk V's reward.

    You can look at that from either a positive or negative angle as is being demonstrated.

    It's a valid point, but I do think his profile is improving and a Joyce vs Whyte, Joyce vs Fury or Joyce vs AJ would do decent numbers. Even Joyce vs Ruiz would sell because of his 'W' against AJ. But yeah the risk still outweighs the reward, you're right.

    Boxers below that level who have been offered the fight but chosen another route; well that's harder to justify...
