LIVE THREAD: Joe Joyce vs Christian Hammer + Cunningham vs Tete, plus undercard

I thought it was quite an entertaining show for the most part. Couple of big dirty knockouts and it’s always fun to see Joe’s chin stand up to bombs.

 

The DDD win is better than any of Joshua's puddings

 

Joe’s signature win is clearly Dubois.

 

Dubois does not have a higher boxing IQ than Joyce and was easily out-jabbed by him.

 

No, Povetkin was far better than Dubois and Parker is a better fighter too.

 

Jennings actually hurt Joyce and ran him close.

Dubois was a dissection with Dubois taking a knee and not wanting to beat the count.

 

The amount of slow , telegraphed right hands Hammer landed on Joyce's head does not bode well for him against Wilder.Joe isnt going to improve at 36 ,he is slow, not a terrific banger, and wide open to shots .Against which he has a great engine ,and a top chin,but even top chins can be cracked if hit often enough!

 

Wilder vs Joyce would be such an intriguing fight. The punch vs the Homer Simpson chin.

 

Come on Jurgen. Did you not watch Dubois against Trevor Bryan ? He is one-dimensional, only moves in a straight line, and only throws the straight one-two. Both Parker and Povetkin are better wins than Dubois. I'd back Pulev and Ruiz to beat Dubois too.

 

Parker Ruiz pulver all crap porvetken good but was old Joyce would beat Joshua he’s too hard for him Joshua is a wimp

 

Both total puddings

One an old short man and another with no ambition in the ring to win.

DDD splats both no problem anytime over the past 5 years.

Pedvetkin and Paint Dry are named for good reasons.

 

DDD is a huge punching dangerous up and coming fighter - the type avoided by Joshua.

Once Joshua defeats any of the big three Fury, Usyk and Wilder or LIVE challengers with ambition and ability to be a World Champion such as Joyce, DDD or Bakole then he remains a fringe pudding in my book.

 

lol! Povetkin won a number of rounds v AJ and rocked him a couple of times, his and Parker`s hands are far quicker than Dubois who is really still and green looking.

 

Usyk will beat AJ and toy with Dubois, he`s unproven at elite level.

 

Any LIVE heavyweight opponent such as Joyce or Bakole would wipe Joshua clean out - that is why his CV is full of 80/20 fights or worse with the exception of Usyk which was still 60/40 in his favour pre fight.
