Joyce takes him deep and drowns him

AJ has to stop him before round 6.

Interesting. I can see AJ maybe gassing late and Joyce piling the pressure. I'm going with AJ via decision though.

AJ’s stamina is a huge issue.

He was about 20 seconds away from getting stopped by Usyk.

Of course Joyce has a chance.

    A realistic chance.

If Joyce is still there for the last 3rd of a fight, he would then be favoured.

    Joyce would relentlessly pursue AJ.

If they fight next year, it’s my opinion that AJ will have 3 losses on his resume as they enter the ring. I don’t see him beating Usyk in the rematch. And if that does happen, that’s going to have a huge psychological affect on him.

Not only that, AJ might well have lost convincingly but it wasn't a shocking display by any means, he was simply out-thought and out techniqued by an absolute masterclass of boxing by an ATG technician.

Joyce ain't proven at anywhere close to the level of numerous guys AJ has beaten - let alone AJ himself.

There are levels to this **** - sometimes guys step up and prove themselves to be a LOT more relevant than they'd proved before, but when you're talking about guys this far apart in resumes it seems madness to me that anyone would favour the far less proven fighter... YMMV.

I think Joe Joyce is a problem for anyone out there

yes he’s big, slow and ponderous but his work rate and accuracy are off the scale for a super heavyweight!
He’s a pressure fighter and it seems that no one has the power to keep him off, so he just keeps coming and can do so for the full 12 rounds

Usyk and Fury are best placed to beat him because of their movement, while Joshua is slightly behind them because he too can box and move while carrying more power.

make no mistake though if Joyce lands a big shot he can pour on the pressure and be quite relentless in his finishing!

Joshua would be gassed after 6 rounds.

I think he walks through AJ after AJ gases out In the mid rounds. He took some good shots from Dubois.

Anyone going 12 with Usyk and take a beating will look like a crap. And stop with this b. c. if this or that lasted 20, 30 seconds or 5 more rounds, this or that would have happen. Get back to reality.
AJ stamina is more than fine and always improve.
Joyce got zero chance. And AJ already knows how to pace himself.
There is levels to this game and AJ is a couple of levels above Joyce and always will be.

Tough to call. AJ is faster, more athletic, more powerful and a better boxer. What Joyce does well he does very well. Doesn't panic when he gets hit, sticks to a gameplan and has a great chin and engine.

AJ can win this by boring UD but i see him getting greedy with all the success he has (landing flush shot after flush shot on Joyce) and trying to push a stoppage. He either gets him out of there (Joyce can be hurt) or from about 6/7 onwards Joyce has more and more success.

They did sparred a few years back. When the footage was released they traded words on twitter. I have to give the edge to AJ, think he is very underrated after a loss to a p4p top 5 in Usyk

AJ gasses from hitting Joyce’s face then gets stopped.

    You get back to reality.

AJ has always had stamina issues.

He also doesn’t like pressure and has 2 defeats on his resume.

In a few months time, he may have 3 defeats on his resume. And that changes a fighter’s mindset.

How can Joyce have ZERO chance?

He’s big, strong, has great stamina, and he applies constant pressure.

    He’s relentless.

He has good technical skills too.

His weaknesses are that he can get hit too often, and he’s not that fast.

However, if AJ can’t get him out of there, then the longer the fight goes, the more chance Joyce has of winning.

Yes, Joyce hasn’t really fought any top level guys as yet. So the jury is still out. He still has a lot left to prove. However, he’s shown enough for us to give him a realistic chance based upon how they’d match up stylistically.

Difference being AJ actually has a jab and and won't just rely on power shots. Joyce doesn't walk AJ down that easily.
