Of course.
Because I don't have an argument why it wouldn't be ATG.

 

ATG requires consistency otherwise any flash in the pan can be ATG (are Ruiz Jnr or Rahman ATG because they've had multiple belts at once)?

Defend the belt against AJ and a few others and we can start talking, IMHO.

If he loses to AJ in the rematch he has still already achieved greatness.

If he beats AJ and Fury stays retired, he's the best HW on the planet.

 

ATG Cruiserweight definitely. Him and Holyfield as the best two cruisers.

If he beats Joshua and Fury then an ATG HW also maybe.

 

Pretty much a given he'll beat them.

 

Very few if any champions in history have fought contenders and champions as consistently in their backyards as Usyk has and probably none came out the other side undefeated, without even being dropped. No ex-cruiserweight pre-Usyk had ever clearly beaten an elite SHW champion, let alone as a clear underdog and B-side in their opponent's backyard in their 3rd heavyweight pro fight and first heavyweight title fight. Usyk is the first undisputed cruiserweight champion of the 4 belt era, he's been a top 5/10 P4P fighter since 2018 and has been P4P No.1.

Usyk is the best cruiserweight ever and the best southpaw heavyweight ever. He's a great fighter.

 

HOF/borderline ATG already for sure. Needs to at least be undisputed in HW for full qualification imo

 

ATG cruiser. Brilliant skills and beat a murders row off opponents often times on the road.
Then goes up to heavy beats a solid gatekeeper in Chisora before schooling a unified champion who has some decent wins himself at heavy.
He's an absolute lock now. IF he beats AJ again and another top fighter like Fury you start matching him against Evander for best cruiser ever.

 

Atg cruiser not yet at heavy…. Wins against Chaz Witherspoon, Chisora and a limited weak chinned titleholder who lost to a glutton rather badly hasn’t earned atg status at heavyweight yet.

 

If Holyfield is an ATG heavy then Usyk certainly is.

 

Usyk's had 3 HW fights.... slow down....

 

Gas boy's only chance is the judges. If AJ completely goes into a defensive shell you know he is hoping for a judges win.

 

When Usyk has as many fights at HW as Holy, can reconvene.
