Length, power, skill. He was very patient and Inoue is very aggressive, so the styles matchup might favor him. But Inoue is also an exceptional boxer and has more dimensions to his game, imo. I guess not. But in watching Inoue, it's easy to see that he's a very dangerous proposal for anyone in history and since he looks unstoppable, I'm going to favor him against anyone at 118.
Nonito lost at the higher weights. He also came into the Inoue fight with 2 KOs and then authored 2 more KOs entering the rematch. 39 year old Marquez KO'd Pac. Hopkins's longevity is legendary. Special fighters. Nonito is a special fighter and looked aces in the 4 fights bookending the first Inoue fight.
"Sponichi and Nikkan sports confirmed McDonnell was 65.3KG's at the venue, Inoue was 59.5KG's. McDonnell put on 12KG's after the weigh in, Inoue 6."-AsianBoxing That's 59.5kg, 131 pounds, and he looks even bigger now. Something like 135 pounds
Do you think that Olivares weighed in at 2 in the afternoon as a bantamweight and got in the ring 6-8 hours later as a lightweight?
I would have said so too until Inoue vs Donaire 2, the size advantage in the first one is gigantic, Donaire looks monstrous compared to him. But in the second they look way closer to the same size.
So you really only researched the ones that I pointed out to you? Not sure how you can’t see the elite skills that those 5 possess, especially compared to Inoue. You should try looking into these guys. I honestly think they could give Inoue a run for his money. No, I'd watched these fighters based on others' recommendation a long time ago. What deficiencies do you see in Inoue that makes you think he doesn't stand among the very best in bantamweight history? Poll is dead even ATM. Don't be angry.
