I know you may think "this is what he always does, he doesn't need to train". You may say "this is nothing new".

But the guy may be 34 before he fights again... how long will he be able to get away with abusing his body in between fights?

He's looked noticably slower the last two fights. It's kind of sad because I think he could be a lot better if he actually bothered to train consistently.

You may say it doesn't matter, but the reality is it will effect his performances.

He's not in his 20's anymore. Does he really think he can get away with doing this vs Usyk?

    Very much like Hatton.
I think you make valid points - and to be honest I think he's probably starting to decline slightly. Whyte blew it on the biggest night of his career and Tyson's boxing ability got him through but the legs are gone he was slower but just much better than Whyte who's feet were in concrete and he's slowing down the so the pure boxing Fury of Wallin or Wilder 1 is no more.

Over the years we have seen punch resistance etc fade when guys don't look after themselves in between fights. Mitchell, Hatton, even Khan later in his career. Compare them to Golovkin and Froch who were always in shape and look how long they went on for and could still take big shots later in their career and up there in age.

That said he's huge, a giant really with good fundamentals that when they come together are very impressive for his size. I still think he would beat AJ Usyk is a different story but I could see him trying to win an ugly fight with some dark art stuff thrown in. He's not going to try and box with Usyk with the speed difference of hand and foot.

I think Fury has 3 fights left max...

He looks the same as he did for the Whyte fight. Didn’t you also post about Fury still being in training?

Yes, but that was one video. Athletes who are taking training seriously don't go out to get drunk.

He looks fatter than against Whyte.

He's not retired, he's obviously going to fight the winner of Joshua vs Usyk. He still has the WBC belt.

He looks the exact same as always

And going by his instagram, he trains every day.

The Tyson Fury Relative Fitness Calculator:

    1. Gut protrudes further than pecks... out-of-shape, on the beers
    2. Pecks protrude further than gut... Peak athletic condition, ready to rumble

    Two applies...

    Don't care.

WBC should force him to vacate that belt.

We need undisputed at HW and nobody should hold the division, especially someone like him, who don't respect boxing, people, his behavior and words.

We all know by now that this is you hoping it’s true so that you think Joshua potentially has more of a chance vs Fury. It’s the same modus operandi as your ‘no bs excuses’ thread about the literal war in Ukraine re: Usyk.

No it isn't lol. I'm not more of a Joshua fan than I am Fury or Usyk.

I want the best fights possible. I will be disappointed if Fury is not 100% fit for his future fights.

Fury is very entertaining to watch at his best.

It’s absolutely clear that’s what’s going on. You’re a Joshua fan and all the ‘Povetkin is my favourite fighter’ stuff is a load of waffle.

There’s nothing wrong with being a Joshua fan or a relatively new follower of boxing, but you might as well just say it.

I am a Joshua fan, but why does it have to be one or the other with you people? Why does being a fan of one mean disliking the other?

    I'm an AJ fan
    I'm a Fury fan
    I'm an Usyk fan
    I'm a Wilder fan

And yes before he retired Povetkin was my favourite fighter. He earned my respect vs Joshua, and I loved his performance vs Hunter and his KO of Whyte.

He was never boring to watch.
