With a seven inch reach advantage, as well as power in both hands, Crawfords switch hitting and check hook would keep Davis out of the fight. Crawford finished an undefeated Gamboa in nine rounds. Tank couldn't finish a one legged Gamboa until the end of the twelfth and that fight was five years after Crawford and another loss for Gamboa.

So far it is nineteen votes for Crawford and none for Davis. Apparently, the vaunted Tank power has not impressed us that much.

He's just awful enough to pick Davis out of pure spite, but I don't believe anyone thinks Davis has a shot against Bud at lightweight.

 

I never realized Crawford took Gamboa's 0. I watched that fight in real time. Just never clicked.

Crawford wouldn’t KO Tank because Tank has a good chin and is very defensively responsible.

I noticed 3 people have picked Tank by KO. Styles make fights and Tank can knock anybody out at the weights he fights at.

 

So what you're saying is... Styles make fights, except for Tank where it doesn't matter what style opponents bring they're getting slept regardless.

Interesting that not every fighter uses this infallible Tank style

 

Let's get real, this isn't much of a question and the poll rightly bears that out - even on a forum where people pick helpless underdogs as a matter of principle, this is current 27-3 in favour of Crawford (21 by ko, 6 by decision -- Vs 3 by KO).

This a "levels" question - Tank ain't gotten in there with anyone remotely near Crawford's level, so you have to be mad to back Tank to win.

 

Fighters need to be themselves. God blessed Tank with the equaliser.

 

Who like Tank has Crawford faced out of interest? Please educate me.
