Out of these only Floyd has fought elite fighters. Its embarrasing that some guys like Spence, Crawford, Joshua, Wilder or the charlo brothers are close to retirement and haven’t fought many good fighters. I started following boxing after Pacquiao/Cotto and guys like Pac, Floyd, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Tim Bradley, Shawn potter and many others have way better resumes than todays top p4p fighters.
Such a shame about Reid being put in there with Tito when he was in Monster mode. Reid's naturally drooping eyelid really hurt him too - he would come into his fights, looking like he should be leaving them!
You have said that boxers are tougher today than ever, because boxing has opened to the world - are you joking? The toughness of every era of boxing has gone down steadily to the point of the refs jumping in early to stop one of the seventeen million 12 ROUND 'title' fights that happen nowadays, is this the era that has the toughest fighters? Of course he was. LOL
This thread has clarified how little some posters know about previous generations, and by extension, about boxing itself. Even though historical content is more available today than any other point in time, I blame this on social media and the ability to become an "expert" from reading a one page subjective article. Crawford has fought nothing in the realms of a Tito. Start your homework on Tito and work outwards via his opponents.
