Any undisputed fighter could rightfully claim an ATG status The Monsta is almost there. I hope the undisputed fight gets made. And it won't be his last weight class. Better and bigger things await. By the time he hangs them up he might be an undisputed and a 4-5 (or even 6) division champ with a bunch of scalps of some decent or ATG fighters like Donaire. More than enough for an ATG
Chucho would also be a nice fight to watch Inoue try to figure out. This is how good Inoue is in such a young career. We're talking about him vs guys with 40+ fights at an elite level.
Why is everyone sleeping on Manny Pacquiao? You think Inoue just bulldozes him? or Prince Naz? Morales?
If he can bulldoze Morales, Marquez and Barrera back-to-back then he might be number 1 atg of all time.
I couldn't think of a better top 3 win span when it was available. Morales actually came close. Weird that Marquez never came off. I think Morales could've edged that one too Old Morales UD Pac, MAB, MArquez. Is there a better top 3 wins?
I don't like to say yes to these ATG questions until a boxer hangs them up. He's definitely on his way but we don't have the benefit of seeing his entire body of work. Many a fighter has looked mailed on to go in and then faltered. In recent memory I'd say gamboa fits that bill alongside his long vaunted foe, Juan Manuel Lopez. Inoue has done more than them in my opinion but can we say he's done more than bronzer did before he turned sour? Yet another prime example of someone who looked a dead cert at one point. Chocolatito was considered untouchable until he became unstuck. Jermaine Taylor, even Arthur Abraham... the list is endless. Can he be an ATG is a better question and that's an obvious yes. Will he be? Anything can happen
Uysk is a all time great because of what? Beating overrated Anthony Joshua? Then Andy Ruiz is all time great. You might say he was cruiser weight champion. Nobody cares about cruiser weights.
What started off as a playful comparison which turned into a hurl of insult surprisingly ended on a wholesome note. Thanks to @Flo_Raiden and @George Crowcroft for the history lesson in the BW division, definitely learned a lot about the older legends! plus their styles are so pleasing to watch.
He has done way more than Broner, way more. His resume is not only better than Broner's but better than Broner's+Lomachenko's
