    I think the fans, the ref and the call team all did just enough to get vargas the win however.

    but magsayo could have did a touch more and won.

    I didn’t care who wins, I’m not a fan of either guy. Magsayo by one point for me. Are you talking about the people who scored it wide for Vargas? I imagine they’re Mexican or they’re easily swayed by crowds/commentators. I agree that’s what Vargas supporters have done, some people were saying that Vargas wasn’t getting hurt and that the knockdown was a slip lolol
    Vargas was getting stunned constantly throughout the fight.

    I think he has killer instinct, he just isn’t skilled enough to get it done. If we’re being honest he wouldn’t have beat an uninjured GRJ, Magsayo is a one dimensional boxer and not all that smart (as you pointed out).

    114-113 Vargas was my card.

    Could go a round wider, or get to a 114-113 card for Magsayo. But, there was a block of rounds from 3-8 that were generally easier to call for Vargas than for Mark, so I did. Then Mark gave away the 11th and didn't do a whole lot in the 12th, either. Mags did land a couple of right hands in those frames so maybe you could make a case for him shading one or two, hence my personal acceptable range.

    Decent fight, especially given each fighter's style and flaws. Whole card could have turned out worse than it did, that's for sure.
