Does anyone rate him as having a high ceiling? I see that his next opponent may be Colbert or Rolly..
His record is coming together nicely. A late TKO like he did this past weekend is the perfect way to cap off a tactical performance—and a well-needed ingredient for the slick, technician-archetype that is most… American prospects… He’s 27 so time is dwindling. Especially for his style. So, no, I don’t foresee a high ceiling on account of his age. But I would like to see more stock put into champions out of the amateur stateside scene so I’m rooting for him.
He did start late at 18, either way he looks good, seems to have a strong chin as well having decent fundamentals, he should get better as time goes.
Pretty good ceiling, fast, hard hitting, good chin, but he is 27 and still in low level contender status
Theres guys around his level in the PBC stable. Rayo Valenzuela, Isaac Cruz, Michel Rivera, Rolly Romero. If those guys fought each other, you'd get a top contender at the end.
It's a shame he didn't start boxing earlier, because he would have an extremely high ceiling if so. He looks good but he still looks a little unpolished to me, I think when he gets to the level where the other guy is also physically gifted it's gonna be very hard for him.
