You can't say Douglas was better then Lewis. Lennox did everything you could ever do in boxing -Olympic Gold,World Title etc.
Buster had talent but not anymore then Lewis did.

Buster Douglas played a great game in Tokyo. He beat Mike fair and square and for that he deserves respect for beating the best version of Tyson to lose. It wasn’t a fluke. He in that sense has a single better win then near every HW in history.

Yes I can say it. And I did. Douglas looked more natural in a boxing ring than Lewis. He was more naturally gifted.
Doesn't make Douglas a better fighter, he wasn't, didn't make Douglas have a better career.
But if boxing was based just on potential, Douglas had a higher ceiling.
Because Douglas didn't fight up to his full potential it makes him look worse in my
    Opnion also.

Bowe didn`t have any defensive skill, just a brawler with good combos and good reach.

No, Lewis was a better combo puncher and a more accurate puncher.

You're kidding right Mark? You don't actually believe the version of Tyson Lewis faced in 2002 was better than the version Douglas faced in 1990?
If you're referring to Tyson's mental issues in 1990, you don't think he was much worse in 2002? Because he was .
    Please think before you post.....

Loads of heavyweights could have beat Tokyo Mike, he lost focus, King ruined him.

Potential in whose view? Lennox won a gold medal at the Olympics did Douglas?
Lennox was a champion for years and made multiple title defenses did Douglas?
Heart, determination, desire, and discipline are involved in discussing someone's potential as well.
Douglas had what THREE times he performed well and Lewis had triple the amount and somehow Douglas is more naturally skilled?

Potential. Look it up in any dictionary. Douglas had more POTENTIAL than Lewis based on what is on film.
What actually occurred is based on Lewis's better discipline. Douglas LOOKED like the better fighter on film when he fought at his best, he was much more natural, more fluid.
Lewis was a much better fighter than Douglas when one looks at CONSISTENCY. He trained harder in his career,Lewis was much better when it came to consistency, and discipline.
Douglas may have looked better with Potential. Lewis was much better with consistency.
Lewis wins easily with consistency. Lewis was a better fighter historically.
Doesn't mean Lewis had the ability of Douglas, it means only because of Lewis's better focus, he turned out to be a better fighter than Douglas.
A great example is Hector Camacho Sr.
Camacho Sr . Had the ability to be the G.O.A.T.
But he didn't possess the discipline or dissiaer.
Did it make Camacho Sr. A better fighter than Chavez Sr. On Potential yes, but on Potential and final results? No.
Thus Chavez Sr. Is seen as a better fighter (Rightfully so) Than Camacho Sr. Though Camacho Sr. Demonstrated Overall better ability.
