Holyfield was pretty worn out himself when he fought Tyson, arguably even worse. He was 4 years older and had been in wars with Bowe, Holmes, Foreman, Moorer, Cooper, etc, while Tyson barely got hit with a relatively easy set of opponents in Mathis, McNeely, Seldon (who quit), and Bruno.

Hoylfield had one of the best game plans for neutralizing Tyson's offense and I'm not sure if even the 80's version would win.

Tyson was not just a head hunter in the 90's he landed several body shots on Hoylfield.

That's if we're talking Tyrell Biggs, Old Holmes, Thomas.
But a guy like Ali, no, that's different.

You mean like how he easily preyed on Tillis, Tucker, and Douglas? I didn't know those were easy fights for Tyson.

He was on so much gear at that time and was allowed to headbutt in each fight.

Same style and with lack of proper fundamentals. So it's not much different. The only difference was Ali was faster, that's his only hope.

The Douglas match don't count since we are talking a prime Tyson, properly prepared. Plus, Douglas had much better fundamentals than Ali.

Holyfield was roided to the gills, bigger and stronger than ever. And those wars helped him improve a lot as a boxer.

And Tyson was allowed to elbow and do judo holds to twist people's arms. He also bit Hoylfield twice to get himself disqualified.

    Cry me a river.

You continuously make dozens of excuses for one boxer and none for the other but want to pretend like you're this unbiased boxing sage, it's hilarious.

Getting punched by big powerful punchers for 6 years doesn't improve your career, it makes you more shopworn.

Tyson just chilled in his cell reading books while Hoylfield was in wars. He also was definitely on some enhancements too, he admitted to using a fake ***** to pass drug tests.

Tyson is always a victim no matter what.

Of course it counts. That was a prime Tyson. Douglas lost his mother weeks before the fight. That's 100x worse than Tyson's lame excuses.

He looked bad because he got his ass kicked by the better opponent. That's how boxing works.

    Greater chin, heart.
    Think of a Buster Douglas X 50.
