I'd say B-Hop when it comes to prime.
I think most answers will be Floyd because B-Hop became much more of a spoiler later in his career, which is called 'crafty', but doesn't require much ring IQ. It just stands or falls with what the referee lets you get away with.
Though his style earlier in his career tels you he can really read an opponent and act appropriately.

I personally think Floyd would have disarmed a fighter like Chad Dawson but B-Hop’s age probably played a huge factor in that..

    Different stages IMO
Hopkins aged better in comparison but that was due to Floyd's muscle deficiency which didn't really let him pop off that much. Also consider Floyd was boxing at a high level as a teen which also takes it's toll.

This is hard to answer.. I don’t think Floyd has higher iq, at least it is debatable.. Floyd definitely is more talented and athletic.

Either way, both had ring IQs of a PhD calibre.

I think it's a difficult question to answer and you could make an argument for both.

While I think Floyd overcame more styles he was blessed with greater athleticism to allow that and didn't fight so far past his prime like BHop to get to see him need to overcome the same kind of obstacles Hopkins had to.

Either way both had tremendous ring IQ's.

Floyd. Floyd was much better at making adjustments and he could fight at different ranges. I've always felt that bhop was overrated due to the fact his resume is underwhelming

Tough question. Floyd’s insane reflexes make it difficult to tell just how much of it was intelligence and how much it was just his reflexes.

Floyd. But, Bernard might have been better at dirty fighting and whining.

Floyd had the better physical talent so he could doo alot more in terms of setting up counters, hopkins was more limited physicslly. Its a tough call. Also terence crawford is in the same class as these 2 in terms of ring iq.

I say Hopkins cause Floyd was better physically.

Hopkins had to rely on his wits more. Especially when he got older. But him schooling guys unexpectedly priced his great ring IQ imo.
He put clinics on tito and pavlik. Him becoming the oldest champ vs Pascal also shows he was running soly on his ring iq back then.
