If true this will be yet another delay for Spence vs Crawford.. So PBC will readily pay Wilder $15-$20 million to fight Helenius, but won’t put up the $20-$25 million it may cost to cover Spence and Crawfords guarantees.

 Crawford and Spence just aren't worth that much - that's the problem here.

Losses also count. Can't just ignore Helenius getting knocked out by those guys. Ortiz' best win is Jennings and then Martin, Helenius' best win is Peter and then Kownacki. (everyone knows he didn't beat Chisora). Ortiz lost to Wilder twice. Helenius lost to Duhaupas, Whyte and Washington. How is Helenius' resume way better?

Kownacki x2, Peter, and even old Brewster are all probably better than any of Grandpa Ortiz’s wins, hell Teper is roughly about the same level win as Jennings or Prince Charles. If old man Ortiz had fought any live bodies he’d likely have more than the 2 wilder losses too…

I like Helenius but I don't think this will go well for him.
Either Wilder early or maybe Helenius later on.
    Probably BOMB SQUAD though.

No way. Jennings was ranked #5 by Ring Magazine when Ortiz beat him and 4 years after that he gave Joe Joyce a tough fight. He's definitely better than Kownacki. Charles Martin not a live body? Well he knocked out Gerald Washington who was coming off the Robert Helenius win and he also had a very close fight with Kownacki. Old Brewster who had just lost to Oloukun? Yeah right, might as well mention Dave Allen for Ortiz then.

Teper the same guy who lost to Christian Hammer, someone who Ortiz beat? Hmmm.

Ortiz would sure as hell not have lost to guys like Washington and Duhaupas.

Hey don’t knock Oloukun! He might be a top 5 win for Ortiz too

Call me crazy but I would NOT be shocked if Helenius won. He has big time power and who knows what Wilder will look like coming back? He isn’t active, he doesn’t accept his losses, and he is older. I think this os 60/40 for Wilder.

Solid return fight for Wilder. Yes Helenius at 38 is past his best and he's been inactive as long as Wilder as they both fought last on the same card but after the loss Wilder suffered at the hands of Fury we shouldn't expect his first fight back to be against anyone truly dangerous.

Helenius has a punchers chance and the Kownacki wins while a good wins for him at this stage of his career says more about how bad Kownacki is rather than how good Helenius is still now. Right now I wouldn't even have Helenius at gate keeper level so this should be a quick KO for Wilder to make him look good to build a probable next fight against the winner of Ruiz/Ortiz.

There is little chance this fight happens, and, if it does, it is 50/50.

Hellenius sucked so bad those years because of a chronically broken hand, a career threatening shoulder injury, and horrific injury to his throat. All that that is healed and he is ready to go.

So wilder fights the guy that lost 12 rounds years ago to the guy he ducked for years (Whyte?).

Wilder, the joke that keeps giving.

Jenning was only ranked 5th due to a controversial/wrong point deduction in the Perez fight otherwise it would have been a draw. Just prior to that Perez got a gift draw in a fight he clearly lost to Takam.
