Fury reveals had a massive concussion and swelling with Wilder

wilder has concussive power no doubt. But Fury was sloppy in #3 and clearly undertrained. He thought he'd run through him on talent alone and nearly paid the price.

 

Him going rocky 2 with his child in the hospital also hurt his preparation

 

There were a lot of Fury fans that suffered a massive swelling too when he beat Wilder (again)

Truth be told he didn't get admitted overnight which any hospital would do with a head injury which is what he got. He went partying because he's a G.

It's swelling on the brain you can't see that is most dangerous

Fury wasn't physically or mentally well going into that bout and having such a war obviously makes him think about retirement or at least a long break. Fury has took little damage over his career probably took more in sparring like most.

 

That was the hardest shot I've seen anyone get up from.

 

He spent most of his camp in Morecambe running back and forth to hospital as his newborn was extremely ill.

Far from ideal preparation especially against such a dangerous heavy handed puncher like Wilder but he still got the job done and in style. What a great fight.

 

We'll be talking about Wilder/Fury for the rest of our lives by the sounds of it.
