The average southpaw won gold in Olympics. Won every cruiserweight belt on the opposition's home turf and now Is unified heavy weight champion after just 3 fights at heavyweight according to Johnny Nelson, who has stated in an interview that Usyk isn`t as good as former southpaw champions, Naseem Hamed, Manny Pac and Whitaker, is he right? The amount of things Johnny Nelson knows fills an eye dropper. The amount of things Johnny Nelson doesn't know fill the oceans.
Johnny is one of those guys that has a hard on for any British fighter and has to diminish other fighters achievements
Johnny Nelson uses the word "average" as a parody of how Usyk uses the word "feel,": just plain wrong but with a pleasing sense of comedy.
Nelson has to say this sort of stuff, he has zero personality, he makes my wife sound interesting and even when deadly serious Nelson makes horrific picks as nearly as bad as mine and his scorecards make Mine and Ian John Lewis' look rather reasonable. So Nelson has to stand out somehow, he has to justify his over the top salary which even if £20 a night is too much, so he says ridiculous things and makes ridiculous claims, in my opinion to overshadow his ridiculous scorecards and picks. When Nelson says things like "I think James Tennyson would beat Tank Davies right now".. it's so shocking your brain just can't compute and it memory dumps all those pee poor scorecards and picks to try and find the space to calculate how he came to that conclusion. In a way it's brilliant, it's like Brendan Ingle and Yoda had a love child that is some kind of psychological genius and they named him Johnny.. Johnny the boxing prophet who will wipe the minds of all boxing fans with his genius and give them new, improved memories of boxing through the lens of Sky Sports bias.
