Ryan G shouldn't be allowed to fight Loma, Haney or Tank unless he fights at least one more really good fighter. I would rather see Zepeda fight one of the first three fighters I named.

    Who invited the russian bots?

Can't wait to see Loma back in action. Easily my favourite fighter to watch.

I doubt Loma would fight Haney next. Even if Haney wants to fight him, it'll be risky for Loma to get in the ring with him after months of inactivity. It'd be better for him to have tune-up fight next.

There are several names he can fight to boost him into mandatory title contender in each organization : Jezreel Coralles (WBA), Gustavo Lemos (IBF) and Ryan Garcia (WBC). The first two names are obvious no match for Loma. Garcia is good fight, but I doubt the that kid wants to fight him. Other names, Cruz is also a good match-up and would be challenging for Loma, but I'm not sure this fight can be made. From all those names previously mentioned, I want Garcia the most.

I was sure that Loma was inactive for a very long time, but he fought Commey in december, So he can still fight Haney right away.

If not, maybe Nakathila, and when he stops him, Shakur will be hurt.

I think Loma v. Haney is what's being worked behind the scenes.

ESPN does not want to air Haney v. Kombozos II. The first fight wasn't exciting and Haney won at least 10 rounds. There is less than zero demand for it in the states (and who in Australia is paying to see that again? They can't draw a fraction of that crowd after a blowout)

If it gets rammed through then ESPN will most certainly throw it on ESPN+ and it'll air at 11am in the US as no accommodations will be made for it this time around. I wouldn't even take that for granted as college football could easily draw much better ratings. There is zero demand for this fight - even on a hardcore boxing board.

So this rematch doesn't do anything for either fighter. In fact it takes them both backwards. Kambozos really does need to take the step aside money and pursue his career another way.

ESPN would give Loma v. Haney the royal treatment. Undefeated, literate, road warrior American kid against the 'Legend' who also has a Ukrainian sob story behind him....for all the belts. This is a seller.

Your scenario is not altogether implausible, particularly if Kambosos suffers an "injury" that prevents a timely rematch.

Not getting the Loma/Teo rematch made in a timely fashion was such a waste and loss for the sport. The first fight was big and the second would have been significantly bigger.

I blame that on Loma's overconfidence not to have rematch clause. Yes I fully agree that the second fight would much bigger and anticipated.

You cant force Teo to have a rematch if he does not want to. He is was the new champion and moved on. Did Loma give every person he beat a rematch?

I'm not taking sides, i'm just saying from a commercial/fans perspective it was a missed opportunity that we didnt get the rematch. Especially considering Teo didnt exactly capitalize on the win anyway.
