Poor old Edward, he had it too good for too long, he wanted competition, he was calling for it, well he got it and now it seems he is struggling, it's all down hill from here I'm afraid, if AJ loses this rematch then I honestly believe Hearn/Matchroom and DAZN are pretty much done.

Who else does he have? Katie Taylor? Conor Benn? Chisora? The Shannon Courtenay comeback?

Ok, I'm being a little over the top but I'm talking about "bums on seats", "PPV fighters", you know what I mean, who will headline the PPV shows Matchroom and DAZN need?

Okolie wants to do the off, regardless what you think of Okolie he is a crusierweight world champion who can punch, there are unification fights to be made and then a move to heavyweight that could be entertaining.

There are even rumours Whyte is going to sign with Sky for some fights.. sure Whyte isn't exactly prime but he still has a couple left in him that will interest the boxing public, fights Hearn would make in a heartbeat.

Fighters are fleeing Matchroom, young amateurs turning over are signing with other promoters and platforms and make no mistake if Warrens fighters were going to Matchroom/DAZN then Hearn would be on IFL with that stupid grin boasting about how Matchroom and DAZN offer the best deals and pay the most money..

But Now Hearn is having sly and salty digs at Sky and others for doing the exact sort of business he has done for years.

AJ is the one though, we will know the state Hearn is in after that rematch, if Usyk wins then Hearn is screwed, but You should know you're screwed when Conor Benn is your next "Super Star".

That will make a deal between BT and Hearn even harder to make.
Hearn will argue AJ is the A side and Warren will argue unbeaten Fury is the A side.
Even if they agree to split money 50-50 there will be it's of niggling on other things such as ring walks ect.
And with Eddie and Frank hating each other neither will want to back down

Fury holds the ring magazine belt which is still, in my opinion, the most important/prestigious belt out there. 50-50 is fair but regarding ring walks etc. Fury gets to call it.

    I agree with that.
To me Fury is the A side as he is undefeated and widely thought of to be better than Joshua.
However Eddie will focus on PPV numbers ect and try and make out that AJ, who looks vulnerable every time he gets hit since Ruiz, is still number 1

I've been in the media world (and streaming in particular) for a long time; whilst I agree with you, that'll change. Despite working on IPTV very early, I never thought I'd have no "antenna" in the house - dish or aerial - but now live off Sky Glass very happily.

It'll be a generational thing; young people barely know what linear TV is, but sadly they're also people less likely to pay for it.

You can't discard numbers therefore a 50-50 split is fair but Fury has the upper hand concerning the rest.

Fury v Whyte did sell well but not nearly as well as it needed to.

Who is the “A side” or whatever is a financial thing, it’s who brings the most viewers/money to the table.
Who is thought as the better fighter is irrelevant.

Can never imagine the riddler giving interviews and hyping any shows up. He may become a promoter but he won’t ever be a spokesman for it.

    Good commercial points.

Hearn gets a lot of stick. Actually quite a brilliant bloke.

That is how an A side has always been determined?

The reason why Usyk an unbeaten fighter and already beaten AJ at best in a rematch gets 50% is because that huge site fee the Saudis paid and the huge amount Sky are putting up to screen the rematch is very much down to Anthony Joshua.

The site fee which a an AJ v Fury fight would generate and the record ppv buys it would generate are not dependent on which fighter doesn't have a L on there CV.
