Wow, this is one hell of a thread. 110+ pages.

    Can't believe I can't recall it. Lol.

    It's all over now.

The wave has crashed, the hype has washed over, and all thats left is a bodybuilder fitness trainer in boxing gloves.

I can't believe i use to be a fan. I'm glad I've seen the light.

Haha! I hear you. But though the hype train is over now and stuck firmly at the Tyson Fury station, I still like AJ. He’s just not as good as I thought he was

Usyk gave Joshua fits with his footwork. Ali's footwork would have completely befuddled him.

Have I missed something, or did Ali size Usyk just make Joshua look stupid? I must have been dreaming.

Ali was easier to hit with hooks than Usyk, but AJ goes through large periods of fights without throwing any hooks, he doesn`t trust his hook which would hurt his cause against Ali.

So you take two elite boxers in Ali and Usyk. The difference is one is a blown up CW, and the other is a natural HW. AJ lost to the blown up CW, and was even hurt by him, so what makes you think he'd do better against the natural HW with arguably better speed than Usyk, and just as great boxing skills?

Dude Ali was lighter than Usyk and shorter than him as well. Ali said he was 6'2 and he started off his career weighing like 199 pounds. Usyk technically dehydrated to 200 but there is no way he has ever stepped into a ring weighing less than 210. "Cruiserweight" didn't exist when Ali was around, otherwise he wouldn't have been dropped by 185 pound Cooper or dropped and beaten by 5'11 200 pound Joe Frazier. Usyk is Foreman size, if not a little bigger. (Same weight as 70s Foreman with significantly less fat)

And Usyk does? He sits on his punches much less than Ali, but still hurt AJ.

Would Ali not be able to hit those same shots?

Usyk is better at it, his feints sent AJ all over the place.

They were sharp but Usyk like Ali isn't a big puncher. Ali still has the power to hurt him
