DAZN puts fights on, enough to justify the 100 dollars a year. I spend money and stupid things like coffee more than couple times a month, how am I going to complain about paying 10-20 dollars a month for boxing? DAZN tried the "No PPV" model but they're likely losing money so they'realmost forced to do PPV for Canelo. I don't mind a PPV for a big fight and big event because for those we always get people to come and have a fight party. I don't like PBC PPV model. ESPN+ probably has the best value.
What pisses me off from DAZN, even more than the sudden PPVs, are the entire months when they don't show a single fight. That's ****ed up. I understand that they have cancelations and such but just send Chris Mannix to increasingly remote and lawless regions of Mexico with some really expensive cameras and see how he does. Half the members of boxingforum24.com don't watch boxing regularly. What do you think has been propping the sport up?
For some reason, I’m still getting charged $10 per month. I keep waiting for it to go up to $20 but it hasn’t done so yet, and I’m in the U.S. Once it does get to $20, I think I will likely cancel and then resubscribe during months where I feel like the fights being shown justify the price.
ESPN+ going from $7 to $10 next month. Which I’ll still pay bc they have college basketball and football on top of boxing and MMA. I still haven’t been able to convince myself to buy DAZN yet.
i like dazn for the most part some great fights this year in taylor serrano and wood conlan among plenty of others. they do have droughts but for the price you pay vs the amount of fights you eventually get is pretty good i feel i dont like that they went ppv but if they didnt i guess they would go outta biz and we would have one less way to watch fights
