It’s embarrassing how insecure he seems about it. He may not have power but he’s the man in the division right now, should be happy with his other talents

I wouldnt have that much bluster about it. Garcia is big, fast and powerful. Davis could easily bang him out with 1 shot at some point but not before having his hands full first.

Fortuna was a division bigger than Garcia. Fortuna - 157, Garcia - 148.

To beat Garcia, you would have to take that check left hook away.
It is whipping fast and hard.

Fortuna is just shopworn. He was never great but he was better than he is today. This was cannon fodder for Garcia.

I think he knows he’s just keeping those belts warm, as Kambosos did. I expect Haney to delay his move to 140, he’ll try and negotiate his way out of big fights while making mandatory defenses at 135 as long as possible.

Garcia certainly had physical advantages over Fortuna, but they are both LW fighters (Fortuna has been for years) and the weight was changed for Fortuna’s benefit because he was too heavy. No way you can call it ‘weight bullying’ by Garcia. He just has a good, tall, lean frame for LW.

And yet the speed of old Linares was enough to catch Haney and badly hurt him, and have him out on his feet for the last few rounds. If Ryan lands a shot like that, and he will, because his speed and timing rivals that of Linares. Would Haney be able to recover..... or even get up from it?
