They were competitive in the amateurs. I think Garcia has the edge in the pros. Haney hasn’t changed that much over the years, but Garcia has gotten more powerful.

If they fight, I would have Garcia as a slight favorite.

Yes i watched Broner he was obviously hyped by African Americans

He was good, but Haney is better. How you can't see this is odd. Kambosos is better than any win on Broners light weight record and it's not debatable.

No I'll give Garcia credit. But it wont happen. Besides Garcia doesn't even want that fight. Guess who he called out when Haney beat Kambosos. Not Haney, he called out Tank. His direct reaction to Haney/Kambosos was to call out Tank on twitter. It's so obvious he knows Haney is very a hard fight for him

And he continues to call out Tank. He also said he can't make 135 much longer and he's obviously not fighting Haney anytime soon

Rolly Spence? LOL but hey if Ryan Tank can't be made, I'd pay to see Ryan vs Rolly that'd be fun to watch.

He beat the undisputed champion. Kambosos decisively beat the guy who decisively beat Lomachenko. What else was Haney supposed to do ?

Are you suggesting he wouldn't have fought Lomachenko or Lopez for all the titles ?

broner had been embarrassed by ponce and given a gift already. haney hasnt needed gifts yet. haney is also more skilled. has to be, he doesnt have broners heay hands. but haney is too small for ryan. ryan will walk right through him. sure, ryan could lose a points decision to him, if he isnt brought in prepared for haney. but give him the right gameplan and the proper camp, and he manhandles haney. i think garcia s taylor would be more competitive.

Yet without hesitation I'd pick Broner at 135 to do the exact same thing to Kambosos as Haney did, and you would too. They're in the same ballpark.

Maybe you would.... I honestly don't care that much. This conversation is a waste of my time. I react the way I react, oh well.... it is what it is. I'm sure Haney will recover if I talk **** about him. For what it's worth, you're wrong about something else. Even though I'm picking Ryan to beat Tank as well, it's a far more dangerous fight for him than Haney. Quite frankly, Tank would probably beat Haney as well.

I don't disagree. Garcia can win it, though i do favor Haney

Did I ban him? Nope. There's few things that annoy me more than people arguing with a moderator and bypassing the word filter while doing it. It's the height of stupidity. At least I gave him a chance to correct it.

They're both cerebral, Tank might even be more cerebral. It's just Ryan has physical advantages. Height reach. Rolly is a much better fighter than this version of Fortuna. Both Rolly and Fortuna landed some decent shots on Tank / Ryan respectively. Fortuna actually surprised Ryan with some well timed shots, one of them put him off balance. Lets face it, if Rolly fought Fortuna, Rolly would be heavily favored. Ryan is a good fighter, but Tank is more dangerous imho. I doubt Ryan could get tank out of there because Tank has a hell of a chin, but one well timed shot from Tank could put Ryan down and possibly out. Ryan is very capable of outpointing Tank and winning a decision, but Tank has a better chance of hurting or KOing Ryan than Ryan has of hurting or KOing Tank. That's why it's a great fight and needs to happen.

Also Ryan is easier to hit clean than Tank, particularly to the body. Tank is smaller and compact, and has great defense, it's not gunna be easy for Ryan to land a hard body shot on Tank like he landed on Fortuna tonight that dropped him. He's probably gonna have to head hunt Tank and Tank is a devastating counter puncher. Yes Ryan has the skills to win rounds on Tank, but Tank can hurt Ryan, and I don't see how Ryan could hurt Tank. Even if he lands a couple of clean power shots, I doubt Tank would be affected by them. He's got a hell of a chin.

I only did it to put your own words into quotation.
