Based on Garcia’s patience, timing, punch selection, explosiveness, and actually looking like a good fighter. I’ve never once praised his opponent selection because Fortuna was always meant to be the guy to make Garcia look good, but you can still see the adjustments Garcia has made compared to his last fights. I’m still gonna wait until he actually fights a live dog but this is definitely a step in the right direction for him.

Tank has skills, Wilder does not.

That's where I am at with that. He did look good in the fight but that was to be expected.

The improvements are there and the hand speed is undeniable. . He's one of the fastest punchers in the sport.

Fortuna has never been that good and he looked terrible in the Garcia fight. And I don't contribute much of it to Garcia looking good.

He gives me Amir Khan vibes with his lack of head movement and poor footwork.

Some people said Fortuna would win though. Some even said Ryan would cancel again. Garcia did look better than his last fight but wasn’t incredible. He still lacks defense. But his jab work was tons better. What was he supposed to do?

Nah, he had the right opponent in front of him. A toothless Fortuna. He wasn't in with a real killer. He still hold his chin up high. He's gonna get clipped again, badly. Goosen really need to correct that in him.

    Haney beats Garcia.

Garcia's too flat-footed to beat Haney, who has vastly better footwork.

That’s what I’m saying flat footed straight up and no upper body movement. A puncher would stretch him

    Salam Aliakum.

Amir Khan was the biggest laughing stock in the sport of this era.

Garcia has power Khan could only dream of, by this stage Khan had already been dropped loads of times and had losses to bums like Prescott and Peterson

Garcias potential is far higher than your hero and felllow muslims love of the canvas car crash career .

Impressive performance from Ryan. He’s much better as a fighter since the Rolly loss.

Barrios -> Benn is a remarkably soft run. He may be getting better, but he hasn't shown it yet.

Barrios drew (lost?) to a 50 year old Pacman. Benn is Benn. Let's see Ryan in with someone real and we'll know where he's at. Teo is a great fight for both guys.

Out of the new gen from him, Teo, Shakur, Haney, and Tank; Ryan imo always looked to be the most naturally talented and physically gifted but the actual IQ and work ethic just aren't there. If he was only as well schooled as the rest of them then maybe he would be a quarter of a fighter Oscar De La Hoya was. Boxing is in need of another golden boy.
