I think Pac vs Hearns would be Margarito Cotto 1 minus the wrap scandal. In my mind anyways.

 

Hearn's so large it very well could be, though i don't ever see Manny submitting he would rather go all out then nothing.

 

Pac wouldn't be that competitive.

 

You might have a strong point, he really should have gone down in weight after the first Bradley fight or especially after the 3rd Bradley fight,

Man please! Marquez put Pac to sleep. Hearns is probably one of the hardest hitters at welter, much harder than Marquez. Pac goes to sleep in the ring and wakes up in the hospital several hours later. Pac has no choice when it comes to submitting.

 

You're seriously underrating how hard a chemically-enhanced Marquez was punching. He also dropped Pac before the KO.

Thurman, Mosley, Broner, Vargas, Cotto, Horn, and Matthysse also landed flush on Pac and weren't able to drop/hurt him.

And Hearns doesn't have Marquez's timing which is one of the best in history.

 

Pac gets put out cold. I know you love him and rightfully so. He was a great fighter, but Hearns is physically too much for him. Hearns used his jab, and length well, hhe was fast and explosive. Oh yeah, he hit hard as hell.

 

Hearns has to be favored and rightfully so. But it's no easy night's work. Hearns was chinny and had stamina issues and he'd never seen anyone with Pac's combination of speed, power, and footwork. Hearns by KO, but Pac stopping him wouldn't shock me either.

 

Pac stopping Hearns is not out of the question. That I can agree with you on.
