He is 44-0. Former SMW World Champ. Now campaigning at LHW. He is 31 years old so time is now.

Are they trying to get him to 50-0 for marketing purposes? Looking at his record he has some decent names. Barrera, Vlasov, Hart, Gonzalez etc. Mostly some borderline world class or fringe world class guys. Nobody legit world level, let alone elite like Bivol or Beterbiev.

Only legit world level guy was Abraham, but he was over the hill.

I'm not hating on Zurdo. But I want to see what he is truly made of.

He was damn near explicit about seeking the 50-0 for marketing before his division heated up now he's talking a lot about Bivol.

He's a good fighter albeit a massive weight bully. Abraham, Barrera, and Yunieski were past their best/over the hill. His best win over a prime opponent is probably Vlasov

If you can make the weight you make the weight, stop with the nonsense of calling fighters weight bullies.

Vlasov was world level. He got the short end of the stick on the cards in his biggest fights.

Yeah that's not that a theory I subscribe to I'm afraid

He weighed 204lbs in his last fight. The next highest recorded weight for a LHW I've heard of is 196lbs and that was him. Prior to that the highest I'd heard was 192 or 193

    Bivol weighed 183 against Clenelo

Yeah, he said that he wants to beat that record.

I really hope Zurdo vs Bivol will be next, since Beterbiev is fighting in the UK

Weight bullying obviously is a thing.
It's not hard to grasp that an almost 30lbs weight difference between time of weigh-in and entering the ring isn't natural.
Obviously part of that is due to the changing from same day weigh-in to prior day, but it's clear that it still isn't anywhere near natural.
The WBC basically giving Mexicans a free clenbuterol pass and possible use of diuretics is another part of the equation.

Known big weight bullies have been caught using things like diuretics, clen, nandrolone or other prohibited substances in the past, or suspected to have used them.

    Except the obvious one...

Just about everybody would rather see Bivol fight Beterbiev.
