Fury and Usyk will both go down as ATGs, regardless of who wins

I still feel Fury is lacking to be an ATG. If he gets schooled by Usyk many people will say he git exposed since his resume is thin.

Thats why I feel he is reluctant to take that fight.
Not because he is affraid of Usyk but because he knows people pump him up to be this atg mythical undefeated heavyweight beast and his toughest fight was Cunningham.
Why he is struggled with him os why isnt confident he can beat Usyk.

Rather run out of boxing with the fantasy and ego intact than take that risk.
If he does take tge risk though and clearly beats Usyk and Aj then I will consider him an ATG since he would have proven to be the best of his generation.

    Usyk definitely.

Fury? Well if he loses to Usyk then I'm not sure, if he beats Usyk then probably.

Fury called Usyk "a little steroid man".

If he was in his 20's bulking up from cruiser I'd agree a little steroid man like holyfield but Usyk looks like a cruiser in his mid late 30's with age bulk. It makes him look old.

    Sorry, not Fury.

One fight don't get you there.

He is too inconsistent to be in the conversation.

    I will beat yo ass

Fury has been the HW king since 2012, 10 years. Beaten two long reigning champs in their own back yard brutally and the first of his kind as a heavyweight. If Mike Tyson is an ATG then so is Fury very easily.

Fury will be in discussions for the rest of history. He is with the big boy greats.

I agree Fury resume is thin. He needs this fight and he must win it if he is to be considered for as an ATG. AJ vs Fury would help him as well, as a fight with a young under 33 years of age top ten contender.

You say Fury's resume is thin, who at HW of the current gen has a thicker resume?

Nobody and if you think they do you think wrong.

No one has a thick resume today at heavyweight. That is problem. Usyk at least is up for the challenges. Wilder hasn't beat anyone in years. The top ten in the division is virtually untested vs each other.

But what happened when Fury fought his best opponents

utterly dominated them like no man before. Fury doesn't need any more "names"

Whyte fight, everyone who knows boxing can see Fury will walk over him whilst sleep walking...whilst everyone else goes life and death with him.

The only recent interesting one for Fury is Usyk...but Fury might just tear his little middleweight head off...and if AJ wins with his slight punchers chance I don't want to hear "Fury needs to fight" EVER AGAIN. Because he doesn't and has proven he is the DON.

Fury is not yet an all-time great. He doesn't have enough on his resume. Usyk is an ATG but, obviously, not at heavyweight.

H2H yes, but last time I checked, mythical wins doesn't make one an ATG.
