Nor the strength, nor the skill levels.

I actually pick Marciano over Dempsey which isn't the popular opinion. I think he gives any cruiser ever a tough go. Jones was just an outlier in terms of hand and footspeed and insane reflexes. He wasn't even catchable until well into his 30's. At that point, Marciano starts to devastate him.

How is it a bad matchup? Roy doesn’t know how to tie up anyone properly and Marciano isn’t going to respect his power. Look at Johnson v Jones. A much lesser pressure fighter just wore him down a slightly out of prime RJJ. Marciano would steam roll him.

That wasn't a slightly out of prime Jones, that was a fully on a downhill steam train Jones, a guy who fought top level fighters almost his entire career, had 51 fights under his belt and 35 years, an age and record at which Marciano was well retired. The dude relied so much on his reflexes and speed that once they departed the emperor had no clothes.

    Prime Jones would clown Marciano. C L O W N.

Roy would start good but just like in the Walcott fight Rocky would find his shot.

He didn't beat fighters who were better when he met them than Roy was at his prime. That is just a fact.

Negative. Roy was a great MW-LHW he was never a great cruiser or hw. NEVER. Talented and probably does beat a lot of guys but he’s not beating one of the best pressure fighters to ever live at HW. You’re delusional. Archie Moore Charles and Walcott all beat RJJ. Prime not prime he’s not winning against them. RJJ js an amazing fighter but his power never affected the big men like he dominates the lower weights. Don’t confuse the two. Marciano walks him down.

Marciano in a shockingly one-sided fight. He's not going to evade the hundred punches a round Rocky could throw.

Jones by the way, was a PEDs user. Just a reminder.

Rudy isn't going to throw a hundred punches a round when he's getting countered every time he attempts to throw.

Roys going to take all the momentum early with flashy leads and counters while Rudy swats air. The damage accumulates quickly till at some point Roy turns on the gas with unending combos, Rudy looks defenseless and the ref stops it. Over/under 5 rounds.

Of course he will. It is kind of what he did. Not will all of Jone's counters land, as Marciano was, as his oppenents attested to, deceptively hard to hit.

Besides, without PEDs, Jones is not in his class.

I’ve said it before, John Ruiz (and Jay Nady for that matter) have a LOT to answer for.

They provided for the most unstable platform for extrapolations gone MAD (LOL).

Rocky by mid to 3/4 round KO and a very chilling one at that. Scary like, damn, I hope Roy isn’t dead.

Y’all must’ve forgot - Rocky punches at every part of the anatomy and he will find sufficient areas of Roy’s anatomy to do the job.
