I'm tired of this bull****. Tank needs to fight the top guys or retire. I see that he's employing Floyd's tomato can strategy to puff up his record but sooner or later he's gonna have to fight the best of the best or quit.
You're halfway there CJ. You liked post #3, why can't you go all the way? You get halfway down the road but keep getting stuck there. Complete the journey!!
Tank and Garcia are both 135 pounders. Tank wants the fight at 135 lbs. Garcia wants the fight at 140 lbs but not at 135 lbs. It’s obvious that it is Garcia who doesn’t want the fight. Why was Garcia willing to face massive 5’10 lightweight Luke Campbell at 135, but not small 5’5 natural super-featherweight Tank at 135? Simple, because Campbell who has mediocre power shattered Garcia’s glass chin and sat him down on the canvas. And since then, Garcia realised that his glass chin will not hold up against a real puncher. Hence why he’s ducking Tank - in addition to pulling out of bouts with Fortuna, Diaz and Pacquiao all in the space of a few months last year.
Campbell fight was more than a year ago... Ryan is a big ass kid and still physically growing. It's entirely believable that making 135 is no longer easy.
Damn bro, Tank is nearly 30 years old and we're talking about him maybe fighting a prospect in the near future in which he could duck. Let that sink in for a minute... NEARLY 30 years old and still in his prospect/secondary belt phase.
Tank is in a good spot right now. He's in his prime and his competition the last couple of years has not been that bad. He does need to step it up already though.
Yeah, he's in a good spot "financially" if that's something you care about, as for me, I personally don't. He'll be 28 in his next fight and hasn't even fought for a real belt in the last 4 going on 5 years, that Leo Santa Cruz **** doesn't count. He has a pretty big following and is a cash cow, I get that, but Floyd obviously knows Tank just isn't on that level yet, they're trying to sell us silver and say it's platinum. Once he loses to a superior boxer like Haney, Stevenson or Loma that cash bubble is going to pop and Tank is just going to be another meme boxer with a punch.
Of Luke Campbell's 20 wins, 16 were by stoppage, and most of those were by the middle rounds or earlier. The **** are you talking about "mediocre power"?
He’s been needing to step it up for years.everybody is asking yet he continues the path of mediocrity.I honestly don’t understand why he keeps getting a pass from some on here.
