Just like the judges are divided on this fight, how about the people who watched it live and also those revisiting it.

I had Calzaghe fairly wide. Hopkins tried to BS his way to a win trying for points deductions. I think I’ve scored it 115-112 and 116-111 with a case for 117-110. Joe was sloppy but Hopkins was simply spoiling.

I thought it was very close and thought it was difficult to score.

I also really enjoyed this fight. It sounds ridiculous but I loved the way Hopkins had Calzaghe so reluctant to throw some of his punches and minimising that rate of fire and I loved the way Calzaghe relied on steady pressure to get the job done, moving the older man around the ring in a wide circle. It was just great, high level stuff, I like this fight.

I had 114-113 Hopkins if I remember rightly, Hopkins won first 4 rounds and had a big 6th round ? And I think he may of edged another round in 2nd half of the fight, so for me it was 6-6 in total rounds but Hopkins edging it with knockdown.

Rubbish fight though I'm never revisiting it to score it again.

I had Hopkins winning clear. He dropped him, had joe and his dad frustrated all night. 7-5 Vintage bhop. He didn’t land **** clean in the first 7 rounds. His biggest highlight of the fight was that weak attempt a gay porn.

    115-112 to Joe.

Hopkins only won 4-5 rounds tops.

Two of the judges had it 8-4 and 9-3 for Calzaghe.

The other judge was Adelaide Byrd.

So technically yes...it was a split decision.

ABSOLUTE BULL FECES!! B Hop was robbed !! I watched the fight again yesterday. Thaqt low blow by Slappy was a deliberate SLAP. as Bhop said it pushed his genitals outside of the cup. Man that had to hurt. Add to this, count the number of BLATANT SLAPS landed by Calzaghe.. All of them FOUL BLOWS as we all know. Like Fluffy Mayweather the Slapster does NOT deserve special treatment from referees. If his hands are damaged & he cannot deliver a legal punch he should have RETIRED!! not robbed his opponents

Yeah, Byrd’s card doesn’t really count. Her GGG-Canelo I card indicates she is fond of GBP and vice-versa.
