    Absolutely

115-113 for Lennox Lewis is the closest possible scorecard I can fathom.

I had it 117-111 clear cut for Lennox Lewis

No. A draw was fair. The fight was very even. Neither guy dominated the fight and Lennox going negative for several rounds really hurt him, so a draw was the best decision.

Also, considering how much Manny kept screaming at Lennox to pick it up in the middle to late rounds showed how close Manny knew the fight was, so Lennox only had himself to blame for ignoring instructions.

Lennox did the same in the Tyson fight, he could have ended it three rounds earlier for sure. I think the knockouts just made him a lot more cautious.

That said, he was pretty sensational with Steward, so there it is.

100% of people disagree with the decision in Eye on the Ring and a fair amount have scored it. Lewis won it easily. It was a robbery.

Wasn’t the second fight closer? It’s been a LONG time.

His strategy to tie up Tyson until he tired and was no longer a threat and then beat him up was a sound one.

Sure, but did Mike look like he had anything left after the third round? He was pretty much done.

Yes. Holy fought better in the fight he lost than he fought in the fight he got a draw in.

After Rahman and McCall he wasn't taking any chances. Tyson fans like to point to those early rounds as evidence of what a prime Tyson would do. Tyson was no joke. A boxer would be suicidal to ignore his power. That still doesn't mean any iteration of Tyson beats a prime Lewis.

You mean the first round? Shoot, BRIGGS looked a lot better in his first round with Lewis.

I do sympathize with your point in regard to Lewis' caution.

I'm surprised anyone thinks Mike did much of anything during that fight. The first round he did ok, but Lewis wasn't exactly bowled over, let's get real. After that round...I've watched that fight dozens of times and it looks to me as though whatever Mike had was gone after precious moments in the first.

After the second round it started descending into a form of borderline torture porn...sounds to me like a lot of people were watching a different fight. I'm a fan of Mike myself, and I found myself feeling sorry for him by the third.

Very even ? is that a joke ? Lewis dominated Holyfield behind the jab all night. And had him seriously hurt on 2 or 3 occasions, yes i agree Lewis at times could of been a bit more aggressive when he had Holyfield hurt, but still doesn't change the fact Lewis totally outboxed Holyfield for 80 percent of the fight with the jab.

Holyfield had one good round in the 3rd, when he tried to make his prediction happen of a 3rd round KO. But other than that Holyfield was poor for majority of the fight had no energy, and could only muster 30 punches thrown a round on average. The stats tell the whole story Lewis 348 punches 57 percent landed, to Holyfield's 130 punches 36 percent landed, this was not even close to being an even fight.

Yes it was but still a clear win for Lewis in a competitive fight, i had Holyfield ahead by 1 after 7. But he did virtually nothing between 8-11 and that gave Lewis the win for me.

The argument by Tyson fans is that Lennox held on for dear life in the early rounds because he was scared. So what? He respected Tyson's power. They knew each other since they were teenagers. All that smothering eventually weakened him and then he beat him up. I would add they were scared of each other, hence Tyson wigging out at their press conference.
