He may have been seen as that at the time, however compared to todays heavyweights he was better than he was given credit for. Todays limited heavies like Whyte, Chisora, Parker etc would have been used for sparring only back then. They are awful. Bruno would have stopped all 3 and early.
That argument keeps coming up. Maybe he would. But his best win is McCall, iirc. He always failed to rise to the occasion.
How do you see Bruno against Parker mate Parker can take a punch but folk make him out to be better than he is hes no that good takes a punch and athletic but not a true fighter I think some important stuff missing from that boy
Prime undefeated* Joey twelve packets Parker is arguably still Josh’s best win. *Parker could easily have four losses on his resume by now in whyteleafe, hugh fury, fat Andy ruiz and shot to pieces old del
Some folk had takam beating him but can’t remember how it went I know it was hard like but can’t mind and takam isnt good is he lol
Agree, but I don’t think he failed, he just wasn’t nearly good enough. He should have beaten Smith he was well up on points, but lost to Tyson and Lennox on 2 of their worst performances, especially Lewis. The second Tyson fight I thought was an embarrassment to British boxing. I was only young, but I remember it was very disappointing.
He’s just very, very limited mate. He got a gift at home against Andy Ruiz and his best real win is against Chisora. About the level of Whyte, so very poor.
Going life and death with a shot to pieces retired old man coming off a loss who never fought again proved nothing. No hate, just acute boxing analysis spanning over five decades.
Only way Parker had whyte down was cause why’re was fat ******* breathing out his arse he coudnt stand up he was that buggered lol whyte manhandled him like a wee boy whyte better than Parker but thats no hard Parker is crap joshua Parker bored me I have to be honest it was rubbish glad I didnt pay for it my mate did lol ye was fizzing he paid for it lol
VLADD was coming off a loss, without a win in two years, came out of retirement at 41 for a well paid shellacking on the wembley jumbotrons and never fought again. If VLADD “looked great” it says everything about Joshua’s level that a shot to pieces retired old man could hang with him for eleven rounds and nearly make him quit the way an obese grinning Mexican middleweight did a couple of years later. I’m not a hater and I’m not an oracle. Both your suggestions, both way off.
