Prime Holmes vs Coetzee

I’d pick Holmes, but he might get dropped and almost stopped by Coetzee’s right hand.

 

I just don’t see Coetzee posing that much of a problem. Larry jabs his way to a comfortable lead and then that laser-guided right starts landing and somewhere between 10 and 15, Gerrie falls down and goes boom.

Yes, Coetzee has a good right hand and yes, when Larry did get knocked down that was the punch he was vulnerable to … but it’s not like everybody he fought who had a good right hand knocked him down or had him nearly out.

A focused Larry like we saw vs. Ali and Cooney is just too much. There’s not a lot on Coetzee’s resume to suggest he poses a serious threat but sure, give him a puncher’s chance. I just don’t think he pulls it off.

 

I think it would be a competitive fight for the first 10 rounds or so, with Holmes maybe getting dropped or rocked a few times with right hand. But Coetzee's suspect stamina would let him down, and Holmes superior boxing skills and handspeed would tell the difference, and Holmes gets stoppage in 12th round of a 15 round fight.

 

This is possible, but ultimately I see Holmes stopping him in 11 at the outside.

 

I used to lean towards Coetzee, but really, stepping back a little, you have to favour Holmes. He's got all the tools and and the skills to pull it off. Coetzee would have a chance of course and it might even be a hard fight for Holmes. Coetzee had the power and timing to shake up pretty much anybody on the scene. However, the one thing that I never liked about Gerrie was the fact that he didn't always train to go the distance whereas Holmes did. If Coetzee doesn't stop or hurt him in the first half, the second half might be a long stretch for Gerrie.

The pencilstache are the one true inheritor of the planet. The bushylips progenitor are an infestation of hairy faced **** roaches.

 

A manly walrus moustache not only amplifies testosterone (scientifically proven) but also increases performance in all areas of life. Wimps saying otherwise are the unfortunate few that are only able to muster up a few whisps of bumfluff under their nose and have therefore turned against the mighty pornstache in jealousy. They should be pitied and supplied with fake moustaches so that they no longer feel inadequate.

 

Holmes would get him some time after the 10th. Gerrie's stamina could let him down as BCS and DP stated.

 

If they'd have fought in 1984 as was the original intention,I'd have given Coetzee a good puncher's chance with that right hand. Even though Larry probably would have got through any storm and won,as faded as he was by this point in time.

A prime Larry wins with barely any trouble at all. Jabs his way to victory and mixing that up with right crosses and uppercuts. The Easton Assassin wins inside twelve rounds.

 

Wrong it’s genes. Propaganda. My farther *shudder* was a bushy lip and Kostya Tszyu couldn’t grow a single wisp. Who is the real man there?
