I would say his gauntlet of tough hombres he had to fight on the way to the top was epic. Not many at that time can take on Morales, Barrera and Marquez and come out still alive. Back to back and trilogy and quadroligy. Then go up and challenge rito and cotto it's kinda cray thinking of it.It's death row! His style and boxing skills was not my forte. But his heart, will, speed and power cannot be questioned.

I can agree, I guess allot of people overlook that in itself,

Your Not a fan of his Boxing Skills & his Style? which by the way is a Style that has not been able to be duplicated,

So what is your preferred choice in Style & boxing skills?

He may very well have peaked during the DLH and Hatton fights, but DLH looked so terrible and was shot. So it does take away the luster of that night. With every rewatch I see a man in his prime brutalizing and embarrassing a shot great fighter.

MAB and Hatton. Hatton is not remembered as a great fighter but people were claiming he was going to destroy Pac. He was dominant at 140 and people thought that even though he lost at 147 to Floyd he’d be too much for Pac at his best weight. The way the fight played out was shocking to people.

Cotto was similar. Cotto had lost to Margarito and struggled vs Clottey but Pac was just too small to take on him. When Pac took his punches and motioned Cotto for more when was against the ropes, people couldn’t believe it.

The single best boxing performance I've ever seen. I remember watching it live on TV with my dad. I was 11 years old. To this day the single most incredible thing I've ever seen in a boxing ring live. Reminds me of Jones Toney which I saw later on YouTube years later. We haven't seen an elite/ATG in their prime take an absolute hiding since that fight. And it was 19 years ago.

I saw Fury give Wilder a hiding in the 2nd fight. Saw Froch give Bute a hiding. Saw Calzaghe give Lacy a hiding.

But here's the difference. That was THE, Marco Antonio Barrera. You can still go on YouTube and watch the fight and it still leaves your jaw on the floor. Just hard to believe somebody did that to Barrera when he was at his peak.

His three fights back-to-back-to-back with Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto sent him into a different orbit.

Oscar was nearly a 2-1 favorite. Oscar was coming down from junior middleweight where he'd been for seven years. Manny was moving up after having just ONE fight at Lightweight. Manny was still a super featherweight nine months before he fought Oscar.

It seemed like Oscar was going to weight bully him all over the place.

And Manny ended his career with a thorough beatdown.

Pac destruction of DelaHoya and Hatton. The beating Margarito took was something.

DLH was severely weight drained at a division he had not fought in SEVEN years. Has there been a PRO that has successfully drained weight to a lower division after 7 years? DLH was dehydrated to the point, he could not rehydrate and weighed LESS than pacquiao fight night. That was a money grab by DLH. I would put money on DLH every time if he was at a natural weight.

    Barrera fight for me.

Hatton for me. He made Hatton look like he's never been in the ring before.

I take prime Pac over any version of Oscar at 147.
He would never handle that speed.
Its also Oscsr being the A side who made that fight happen and was ridiculed for dragging up a featherweight to welter rather than this revisionism where Pacquiao dragged him down.
