So Fury would just match a feat already done by Lewis, but STILL has a worse resume...and he'll surpass Lewis?
No, Lewis is a top 5 heavyweight ATG on resume and longevity If Fury were to win the undisputed I think he has a definite case for breaking the top 10. That still doesn't detract from Furys achievements though, he dethroned the man, made the greatest comeback ever had a legendary trilogy, and could finish undefeated undisputed, it's probably a legacy and legend that would grow significantly in time given his story and charisma. Furys real calling might be as a top 5 ATG head to head heavyweight.
Dude? it’s clear English is not his first language, yet he still coveys his opinion thoughtfully and clearly. I respect that, it is difficult to do.
I doubt it, and that's not a knock on Fury who is the clear number 1 right now. I'll go back and look at how many top ten guys (Ring Magazine since TRBR wasn't around in the 90s) Lewis fought at the time he fought him, but my thoughts are its going to seriously dwarf the number of top ten guys Fury has fought (BTW 5-0-1, wins over Whyte, Wilder X2, Wlad, Chisora).
man why do I get the feeling that Fury himself makes random accounts on boxing sites and trawls (trolls?) the forums to see what people think? Let's just say that I rate AJ and Usyk higher than Wilder and Old Wlad and that beating them would be a huge boost in my opinion. TF needs to find some motivation. Sanders went to a sports psychologist before Wlad and he said it did wonders for him. Just saying.
Dethroned a 40 year old. Had a trilogy with a bum. Avoided most live bodies during his time. Looking to fight Chisora again, pathetic.
No man born from their mother, and that includes Lewis, apart from Usyk can defeat Tyson Fury If Lewis had ballooned up to over 400lbs and gone on a biblical three year coke, booze and junk food bender that would put Keith Richards in a coffin only a couple of weeks into, had to battle his own demons whilst simultaneously having to fend off the incessant attacks from the demons of the establishment who were not only trying to frame an innocent gypsy brother for a crime he did not commit but who were literally trying to destroy his life which FTR caused him to suffer a nervous breakdown and battle suicidal thoughts, and then had to shed over 140lbs of blubber before trying to dethrone the most violent punching HW in history on their own soil he would've categorically got KTFO. Every HW in history not named Tyson Fury would have.
Lewis achieved more even if Fury beats Usyk and Joshua. However, I'm pretty sure Fury is a better fighter and would have beaten Lewis.
