Better late than never. This is a rough fight for Kownacki on paper. Likely going to be a phone booth war with tons of punches exchanged. Hopefully the Helenius fights didn't rob him of his durability.

 

Someone said that he was slurring when he was recently interviewed, so I think it might have been a Bowe-Golota type fight for him

 

Hope not. But Kownackis only defense has been blocking punches with his face, so I wouldn't be surprised. If he loses badly here's probably time to call it day.

Well he looks to have lost his fire, so retirement is probably a wise option. If he continues then fights against Breazeale or Bryan are likely his limit.

 

If he could fight for the duration the way he did for the the first two rounds he'd have likely put away the Turk. His conditioning is still not good enough but I doubt it he can fix it now.

 

it wasnt all bad for kownacki. First rounds were actually really good but he couldnt keep it up and fell into old ways blocking shots with his face and stopped moving his head. Maybe wilder will call for a fight now
