Is Ryan Garcia annoying or am I to harsh on him?

Who has Tank fought again? I certainly pick Garcia over Tank. I’d like to see Tank rematch Cruz before anything else, since I thought he lost that one. You think knocking out Romero and a 122lb fighter is special? More notable for me is him landing shot after shot on a one-legged Gamboa.. I’m still not sold on the idea that Tank is a puncher, I think Garcia has clearly shown more one punch power.

 

True enough, I think what makes RG annoying is you can tell someone taught him some manners at some point but now he plays the punk sometimes, the righteous warrior for Christ other times, the boyish goof on social media, etc.

It's natural for a young person to try on some different identities, but it's unpleasant to watch it happen. It creates doubt about if he's really serious about his career.

You couldn't have scripted a better developmental hurdle to clear. What he needed was another fight right after that to cement those lessons learned. Fortuna would have been an ideal opponent for that purpose, Jackson Mariñez is another name at about the right level.

I thought Canelo's comments were quite measured, pointing out that RG is young and needs to prove his ability in the ring. The only thing that went beyond a light needling was saying RG's father owes Eddie Reynoso some money but that the wasn't pursuing or expecting repayment.

I found it odd that everyone jumped on the really benign comments and missed that bit of dirty laundry.

Tank threw his real 130 belt in the trash, local bin man Roger Gutierrez currently holds it. Tank holds a fake 135 title and maybe a fake one at 140 too I'm not sure.

 

Well both of them knock "mother ****ers" out that's why they've garnered their praise.

Davis had 1 title at 130 that was somewhat legitimate. But he never faced the best in the division their as we've concluded before.

Both have a similar resume at 135, which places them both on the cusp of the top 5.

I don’t dislike Lomachenko at all. I just feel he is vulnerable to certain types which is why I knew Teofimo Lopez would beat him and I said so in no uncertain terms. That is not dislike just a honest analysis. There are people on this forum who equate Loma with the almighty which I most certainly do not.

George Kambosos I like. Was very interested to see how he did against Haney a test he flunked.

Ryan Garcia I don’t like at all. Particularly him calling people out publicly then ducking them when they agree. I know it’s one thing to call Tank out but the reality of facing him can cause a shock or shiver to one’s nervous system.

 

Tank won 2 belts at 130 nothing illegitimate about them either.

 

If Ryan Garcia grows the balls to take the fight he will enter the highlight reel of mother****ers Tank knocks out.

 

Garcia has not won a world title. Garcia praise seems to come from teenage girls.

 

In terms of 135 neither of them have a legitimate belt. They have a similar level of resume, although Garcia has stepped up competition much much quicker.

I don't know how many teenage girls where in the crowd when Garcia knocked out Fortuna or when Davis knocked out Rolly.

They're both contenders, playing in Haneys playground.

They can fight whilst Haney beats Kambosos again. The winner can bend their knee to Haney to ensure they have a bite at the cherry.

 

Tank has world title belts Garcia has not won anything. Tank bends the knee to nobody as he is the monopoly economic money maker.

At 135 neither have anything. Garcia has won a WBC interim. Davis has won a WBA regular. Both meaningless when Haney has everything round his waist.

Davis might not bed the knee because he might lose to Garcia and not get the opportunity to face Haney.

 

The only person who has ducked this matchup on the record is Garcia when he claimed he was suffering from mental health issues. I do believe there is something wrong with him mentally so will pray for full recovery.

Haney is the champ sure he is busy atm
But Ryan has been busy running his mouth while also running in the opposite direction.
