While Lennox was a much better overall fighter, I really don't see the case for him having a better chin than Fury.
The Lennox delusion must be a thing This content is protected Wilder hits harder than McCall and Rahman and so does Wlad. Fury can eat nuclear bombs and he'll spit it back out in your face.
Yeah and Ali nearly got stopped by Cooper but guess what still one of the best chins and toughest to ever lace them up same applies to Fury
Gotta be Fury... Lewis is a top 5 h2h heavy, but that chin is vulnerable. He got absolutely flat lined by a single shot TWICE by guys who weren't known as monster punchers.
Fury has better recovery, but was dropped by non punchers if he couldn't stay away or was careless. Pajkic hasn't dropped many in his career, USS wasn't much of a puncher. So I'd say Lewis had the better chin.
Lewis was dropped twice in his career and he actually recovered against Mccall but the ref waved it off. Fury has been put down by a cruiserweight, Pajkic and Wilder several times. Lennox also fought better competition and more punchers
Lewis was knocked out by a crack addict and sparked out cold by the father of a fighter who ducked a Youtuber, both times from single right hands. The drug-ravaged muscle atrophied inactive shell of Fury literally rose from the dead like Lazarus after eating the hardest right hand bomb from hell the hardest punching HW of all time has ever thrown. Sure he got dropped by a few light hitters back in the days when he only used to train on public holidays but Lewis would still be snoozing now if ate a right hand like the one Fury rose from the dead from, and that's a 100% Lewis not a 40% shell of him
Fury’s chin is better, and his recovery is FAR better. Lewis’ chin wasn’t terrible to be fair, but it was his biggest weakness if you had to pick one.
Both McCall and Rahman had boxing abilities that makes DW look like a 2nd year novice. They could throw straight punches.
Lewis was never dropped hard by a cruiserweight but then again Lewis never got up from a punch like Wilders. I'd say Lewis takes a better shot, but his powers of recovery are dwarfed by Fury's which are near supernatural. I'm sure McCall and Rahman could drop Fury but he'd rise up like a phoenix from the ashes to batter them both if they dared to drop him.
