This only hurts your credibility on the subject. If you can't be objective.

It is...different how he seems to dismiss the FOTC Ali and Frazier.

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but imo FOTC Frazier was the greatest h2h heavyweight. Period.

I couldn't disagree more. Prime Frazier was a different sort of beast from what Old Foreman faced in the 90s. A perpetual motion machine; tuned for 15 rounds and willing to work every second of them.

Frazier pummels Old Foreman en route to a brutal, one-sided draw.

I have a right to my opinion it’s not about credibility. Sorry George may have been slower but he still packed a punch and I think he sorta held back also. Joe isn’t taking those shots if he gets hit. And Joe isn’t going to knock Foreman down or out. Sure he may swell his face up etc… but he will get caught. And if I recall Joe was in the hospital after the fight of the century…… And if that fight would have taken place a couple years earlier well Joe would have been just a another notch for Ali and im not even that big of a Ali fan. Sure Joe can can beat a lot of heavyweights etc…. But he is gonna charge Foreman- he is not gonna fight George like Morrison did. That would be his mistake. He is a swarmer not a boxer and George is gonna land at somepoint

Finally, a forecasted McDraw with some meat and flesh on the bone. Nice.

And the controversy would be……that George “Jumbo” Foreman deserved the nod or that, KD aside (likely a slip - no “down goes FOTC Frazier” for this one), Joe bashes in George’s Grill for a clearly deserved decision victory?

Tommy Morrison boxed Foreman. He didn't swarm him.

I'm not saying it would be a repeat of the second fight but watching a retreating Joe Frazier was sad. He was and will always be a swarmer.

Joe had a different land line number in ‘71. - a much hotter line.

And Old George was calling from a somewhat different number himself in ‘91.

“Hello, is it me you’re looking for…..?”

It's interesting how many people are swayed by the two Foreman-Frazier fights of the 1970s. IMO that version of Foreman beats every version of Frazier, even FOTC Joe. As it has been said many times by many people, George was just all wrong for Joe.

However, 1991 Foreman was nothing like his 1970s predecessor. Old George was slow, even ponderous. He still had power but it wasn't the same devastating power he had circa 1971. Leading up to 1991, Foreman had not beaten anyone of substance. His best wins were over Smokin' Bert Cooper and Gerry Cooney. George then lost a decision to Holyfield by a comfortable margin. No disrespect to the warrior that is Evander Holyfield but he was never as good as 1971 Frazier

Frazier might get nailed a few times along the way but he pounds Foreman's body so often and so hard that George has nothing left by round nine.

    Frazier would win this

1991 Foreman was much slower than the 73 version that anilihated Frazier

Small HW Holyfield was able too easily outspeed George and he had less power than Frazier
