Not that popular. There hasn't been a big crossover boxing American star since Mayweather. Outside of Texas and Omaha nobody knows who Crawford or Spence are.

    Not popular at all

The most Spence has done on PPV is around 250k buys, while Crawford has never even done 200k buys

You have to be somewhat of a boxing fan to have heard of them

I'm a casual boxing fan, and I don't really care about Spence vs Crawford.

I like seeing Eastern vs Western boxers fighting. 2 Americans fighting each other isn't interesting.

Well the only superstar boxer today is Canelo and his star is fizzling out. The days of hero worshipping fighters are pretty much done. Social media made everyone human.

I’m gonna be real here - No one besides boxing fans know who they are.

Sports fans know about Canelo, GGG, Wilder, Fury, and kinda AJ…

Sadly, most don’t even know about Usyk after him beating AJ… Someone recently made a thread about DAZN being horrible for boxing in the US - while I’ve enjoyed it a lot - I’d have to agree with that, and blame that for Usyk not being “over” right now…

Dude has an exciting style, charismatic yet likable personality, and now a great “backstory” with the war going on (sadly)…. and obviously - he’s a P4P boxing talent.

It is a damn shame a WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION with those qualities isn’t more well known outside of the sport….

That's what I never understood about Bob and Al. Crawford and Spence should at least be as popular as Miguel Cotto and AJ

But I don't understand why. You have Ennis, Davis, Crawford, Spence, Wilder, Shakur, and Haney. Do you mean to tell me it's impossible to make these guys as big as Floyd when all of them are just as talented if not more talented than what Floyd was?
