Aaron Pryor was supposed to fight

I don't see any reason not to favour Duran or Leonard over Pryor, or any reason why he wouldn't be a difficult night's work for both of them on their way to winning. You would have to genuinely hate Ray Mancini to want to see him fight Aaron Pryor. Theodore Garicault would come back from the dead to paint him, post fight.

 

Pryor was better than Mancini and more proven at 140.

 

Just musing " wasn't a KO artist " tell that to Green, pretty sure very few WW down the ages would have remained upright after such a punch.
As to them being matched, well remember Pryor calling out Leonard on several occasions, once at an awards ceremony, when he snacthed the mic from Rays hand to offer up a fight, anytime, anywhere, wonder why Leonard didn't take the Hawk up ?

Definitely was. Was referring to match ups against SRL and Duran. Would not have needed the black bottle for Ray Boom Boom Mancini.
