The first two heavyweights that I can think of who frequent who got caught , floored , stopped or knockout with the left hook who were suspectable are.

    Cassius Clay/Ali

    Sonny Banks knock down
    Henry Cooper 1 knock down
    Joe Frazier 1 knock down

    Frank Bruno

    Mike Tyson 1
    Lennox Lewis
    Mike Tyson 2

Can anyone give any other examples of heavyweights who struggled with left hooks and why?

Which fight exemplified that? I can’t even think of one example, let alone Tua. Yes, I’m a Dad, I have the right.

More seriously, the way Norton configured his arms for the cross armed defence seemed to leave him somewhat more vulnerable to left hooks - as we saw vs Shavers and Cooney - though Ken was well past his salad days.

I think Sonny Banks was the first to knockdown Clay. Did Doug Jones do it too?

    Carl "The Truth" Williams.

Got decked by Jesse Ferguson twice I believe. Knocked cold by single hooks from Mike Weaver and Mike Tyson. Then Tommy Morrison scored a come from behind KO over Truth in 1992 with a fight saving hook.

Sorry buddy, but Jones did not floor Clay, ( as was then ) it was a torrid fight and some say a draw would have been a fair result , in fact the crowd booed and threw peanuts ! in to the ring after the verdict, Clay did no more than go and pick up a handful and began to chew .
    stay safe guys.

Ali proved he was against Frazier over and over and over and over and over…. And that’s just round 1

    Why, thanks!

Actually watching FOTC it not is rocket science to figure out that if Ali was smoked up and down by Joe's left hooks then so is everybody else down the ladder...

Sound reasoning. I liked your comment also for the fact that it highlighted Joe’s strength far more than anyone’s specific vulnerability.

Akin to asking which fighters displayed a questionable chin and not so great durability - the answer being almost everybody who fought the young George Foreman.
