I don't see Parker putting any major dents in Joyce but he could well get to the cards and make it close.
I thought Joyce looked awful last time out. Joyce has an engine and a chin. He hits relatively hard but he has an awful defence. He will get chinned at some point. I don't think Parker will do it but I think they will go to the cards. If Joyce has been hit as much as last time he will lose on points.
This content is protected Interesting Boxxer are on the poster, so Sky will be pushing this as well. Wonder if there will be any cross promo fights?
Interesting they chose Manchester Arena. I wonder who they'll get on the undercard. Maybe looking to lean on Parker's connection with Fury to maybe draw in some support from Greater Manchester? Whereas London is home for Joyce and I would think also more likely they could tap into the the Australian and Kiwis that live down there. So Manchester seems a bit of an odd choice...
Not sure it's anything other than Parker having a promoter who happens to be Sky's primary one. Sky will clearly promote this as they sell BT PPVs but I doubt it'll be much more than that. That being said, it's good for the non-Matchroom promoters to get together a bit more so hopefully more to it eventually.
Wonder if the PPV will be £19.99 or if BT will just think we forgot that was the price of a non Fury / AJ fight and charge £25.
Hearn set the precedent doing Parker vs Whyte and Parker vs Chisora as PPV so Parker won’t fight for any less.
