whos next to move from Matchroom to Boxxer

We completely agree.

A person from DAZN told me the other day that their tactic is for the boxers to become known and build their profile on the big platforms (Sky, BT Sports etc.) and then sign them to DAZN when they are ready for title fights.

 

That doesn't sound right. They would have to throw a hell of a lot more money at whichever fighter they were poaching, and it would have to be a figure sky/bt felt just wasn't worth paying the fighter for.

 

I also think that it sounds like a strange tactic, so we totally agree.

not just boxxer they are leaving him for. Josh Kelly went to wasserman.Lewis Ritson went to probellum. Its been a mass exodus if you think about it.

also theres been plenty of fighters hes tried to sign whos chose boxxer instead - ben whittaker, frazer clarke, bradley rea. & probellum - the mccormacks, the mcgrails

Eddie certainly doesnt hold the power in the uk anymore.

 

I don't believe that Boxxer / Sky Sports have much interest in Billy Joe Saunders. He sells no tickets and draws no viewers to Sky Sports.

 

Eddie been at the commonwealth games, so perhaps there will be an influx of them joining him?

A lot of the top amateurs will probably stay on the GB programme until 2024 for the Paris Olympics.

Not sure what is happening with Matchroom, another poor card tonight. They seem to focussing on big fight nights fronted by the likes of Canelo and AJ, but beyond that it concerning. Not sure all totally well with Matchroom and DAZN.

 

On the other hand, these cards can't be expensive. Fisher probably put 25 grand in the tin by himself.
