Think this needs to be put into context. The money Boxxer/Sky are obliged to pay Parker this can only be done by him fighting on PPV so if they can't make that happen themselves (which they couldn't) then of course they'll let him fight elsewhere and let someone else foot the bill.
I find him very interesting. Most boxing fans just want to see boxers spewing corny profanity, unable to appreciate any sort of nuance.
What's so interesting about him? He is socially awkward, is trying to hard to talk smack when that isn't him, and has the personality of a house brick.

Dunno what’s cringier about British boxing. The obsession that every fighter seems to have with doing it in a football stadium, or the desperation to get some of that PPV loot.
Just in the last month, we have heard that Shalom wants Smith Eubank II at Anfield, Billam-Smith to fight at Bournemouth's stadium, and Hearn wants Wood Warrington at the City Ground or Warrington Lara III at Elland Road. Riakporhe has also said he wants to fight at Selhurst Park. Hearn also said he can see Fabio Wardley headlining at Ipwsich's stadium Portman Road - he's a Man United supporter I swear !
Stadium fights should be reserved for the pinnacle of fights. Not just any two bob British fighter who's got a few mates who are football fans and thinks he can sell out a whole stadium now.
