If I was the opponent I would ask why this is happening. Take the food, put it down and go up to the camera "what is this, why does it need to be filmed, why does everything need to be filmed?" Or alternatively, grab the camera and wipe the food all over the lens. I hate this "I'm wholesome" movement.
