    You would think at this stage of his career, a tick over fight is completely pointless. He either takes legacy defining one’s or stays retired. Like @miniq said, ‘tick over’ versus someone like Joyce. Not someone you’ve already embarrassed twice practically a decade ago.

    Fury knows when Usyk KO's AJ the comeback fight for him is Chisora

    & AJ will probably struggle with him so it's good to let people know your level.

    Gotta be honest, I'm not a fan of this.

    Obviously I'd rather watch than not, and if it's that or he never fights again, I'd rather that.

    But there's so many better options for him than an unranked fighter coming off a loss who he's twice beaten.

    If AJ somehow beats Usyk, he won't fight for another year at least. Usyk has done the same thing the last few years.

    I am not against Fury having a couple of stay busy fights in the mean time. He's sharper when active, just watch Wilder 2 and 3 for proof.

    He should fight Gassiev.

    It'd be a good setup for the potential usyk fight.

    And I'd prefer Gassiev getting a good purse instead of pudding chisora.
