    Both great fighters with big stains though on both records, Liston's 1st round kayo loss to Ali in the rematch, Wlad getting destroyed by Corrie Sanders in 2.

    I voted for Wlad, although the circumstances are unusual.

    Liston should have reigned much longer, not just defend his title once. Floyd Patterson avoided him as long as he could, and we saw why; twice. IMO if Floyd Patterson hadn't avoided Sonny Liston, Ingemar Johansson would never have been heavyweight champion.

    Wlad should have reigned much shorter, because he did not face the best boxer of his time - his brother Vitali, which was unthinkable in Liston's time.
