Whyte had just been rendered unconscious by a 41 year old man. Wilder hasn't a decent win to his name.

There's no defending this fight - not that I think it will actually happen.

I gave money to a homeless once. Gave him it to buy food with but he went and bought booze instead. I confiscated the booze from him by force and told him in no uncertain terms that if he ever lied to me again he better be prepared to throw hands because I'll be coming at him with everything I got.

In the interviews post Pulev, Joshua said to Hearn he wanted to be out again in 3 to 4 months. 9 months later he fought Usyk.

When it comes to Joshua, whilst he has always taken on the best available, he's never really been an active champion. In contrast Wilder was very active, but generally fought middling opposition.

So, whilst I'd love it to be true, I'm not holding my breath for December

Just like his retirement, this fight isn't real. This is Fury staying in the news. Nothing to see here.

Just Tyson Fury being Tyson Fury. Not sure why this would surprise anyone. Though it's always cracked me up how willingly his fans get milked lol.

I'd be really, really glad to see Makhmudov get a meaningful fight like that - but there's no money behind Makh right now. Poor risk/reward.

If Fury picks Chisora at this point, to ''give him a title shot'', pretending he's some victim of like the English spin Whyte's story, a social justice project ... it's quite sickening. Chisora has had absurd fortune considering his merits as a lifeform. From a title-shot standpoint, he had a title shot very early after losing to Fury the first time and ridiculous opportunities since, time and time again, despite losing almost every major fight, all because of the utter stupidity of the paying public in the UK.

If Fury picks a guy to fight who he destroyed the second time before Chisora had taken another god knows how many beatings and losses, it would be outrageous even by British boxing snake-oil standards.

Fury sitting out until Usyk/AJ winner I have no problem with, but if he's going to have a title fight, it needs to at least somewhat respectable.
This is where the UFC even would put a stop to this level of farce. White did this when Conor tried to organise a fight with a journeyman for a huge paycheck.

If Fury does this, fans should definitely turn on him and all support Usyk, provided Usyk does us a service soon.

I'm glad people calling out that BS.

Even Fury fans don't want to see it

I think Fury wanted to coach AJ against Usyk because he's just scared of Usyk and reckons he could take AJ as the winner.
He would fight AJ for free if it went to charity, but wants 500m for Usyk. But is """"retired"""". Just a coward

Chisora is bum mismatch & can draw big critic of Fury. correctly he deserve to be criticize if he face Chisora.

    but
irony is Dillian Whyte was never really better than this level but Fury has some critic said Whyte was tough serious competitor boxer & Fury was try to duck it

Chavez had already proved himself a great fighter and champion, by fighting atleast over 20+ world class fighters. Along with his other amazing achievements so he had nothing to prove.

Fury has a very thin resume, and still has alot of proving to do. And I think people are a bit tired of these pointless fights Wilder 3, Chisora 3, Wallin, Schwarz, Seferi, Pianeta, and rightfully so.
